Education
I have completed a year at Auckland University of Technology, 4 years at the University of Waikato and earned a double major Bachelors of Science degree (physiology and psychology) and 4 years at the prestigious NZ College of Chiropractic.

Following 4 years of practice, I decided to take my Chiropractic Studies to the top of the Chiropractic specialty ladder and in August 2014 sat my DACNB which is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. I am now a consultant Neurologist for Chiropractors and other manual therapists.

I have also studied for and am a candidate for a FABVR (Fellowship in Vestibular Rehabilitation) The American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation is a sub-agency of the American College of Functional Neurology. It certifies clinicians who have demonstrated appropriate skills in applications of vestibular rehabilitation procedures and awards the designation of Fellow of the American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation to qualified specialists.

I am taking papers towards my FABBIR (Residency) Fellowship in the American Board of Brain Injury Rehabilitation I am also a candidate for a FACFN (Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology). I have found that you can’t just rehab the brain and neurons- you have to fix the brain support mechanisms and its’ fuel delivery and oxygen delivery as well, so, therefore, to ensure that I stay current with the growing chronic autoimmunity and chronic inflammation tidal wave that is coming, I am preparing to be a leader in Integrative Health Care. Chiropractor, Functional Neurologist, clinical neurology for chronic pain and spinal rehabillitation.
I am studying with the Institute of Functional Medicine for my AFMCP, Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice.
Topics that interest me include:
-
Gastrointestinal dysfunction and its links to chronic disease
-
Nutritionally focused assessment and treatment
-
Food sensitivities, allergies, and intolerances
-

Personal
I practised in Europe from 2003 until 2010, Wanaka from 2010-2013 then back to Europe to finish my Neurology Residency

My wife and I have two energetic boys, Lucca 8, and Caleb 6 years old and both keep us busy.

I am blessed to be able to work from a purpose build clinic at my home, I choose to work half-day shifts when the boys are in school, Not many Dads get to do that when their kids are young.

We returned to our Wanaka clinic in 2016 for a change of scenery and what scenery we have here!
New Zealand is home and is beautiful but it is far away from Europe’s hustle and bustle, ease of movement between countries and diverse cultural exposure. Our family has settled back into
Kiwi life and we are looking forward to bringing up our two boys in this wonderful country

I like to get adjusted about every 10 days, I love mountain biking, playing tennis, and backyard cricket with the boys. My passion is sailing, more specifically yacht racing and I have competed in some of the largest regattas in Europe, competed in three Fastnet races and attended 3 America's Cup regattas (as a spectator).
My wife and I have been following our own message of healthy living and a healthy lifestyle, although we do enjoy a bottle of wine once in a while, Everything in moderation is my creed!
